Strong, safe, trusted and proven – these are just some of the words that satisfied customers use to describe our services. We constructed our purpose built facility in 1984 with the vision of offering bank vault grade safe deposit boxes in the heart of Auckland.

Here at Security Deposit Vaults, we take security and confidentiality very seriously. Our state-of-the-art facility exceeds the US 5R National Insurance rating for bank vaults, and we are proactively taking measures to ensure that our customers valuables are safe in our care.

It’s our building

The vault where our customers belongings are stored is made from steel-reinforced concrete, which is set inside a steel-reinforced concrete building.

The vault is protected by a 6 tonne hardened steel door. We have a wide range of sophisticated security measures in place including onsite and remote video surveillance, dual locking systems on every safe deposit box, and state of the art alarm systems and a range of other undisclosed surveillance and security precautions.

We provide over 3,000 individually numbered safe deposit boxes, with easy access 7 days a week from our convenient location at 17 Farnham Street, Parnell. We also own the land and building, so there is no risk of lease terms or tenancy-related issues interfering with the services that we offer. We are committed to our long term vision of providing the same quality of service well into the future. There is practically no limit to how long you can rent a safe deposit box with us.

Our building also has secure underground car parking with access to the vault foyer so that customers can safely deposit and withdraw valuable and sensitive items with confidence that they are in a safe environment. Private viewing rooms allow for complete confidentiality when accessing items within the vault.
